Mastering biotechnologies and therapeutic innovations

Level 3 -

Immuno-Oncology: Biopharmaceuticals and Combinations

Presentation

Why participate?

Present new therapeutic approaches using biopharmaceuticals in immuno-oncology, along with their advantages and limitations

Training Context:

Immuno-oncology is a rapidly expanding field. The therapeutic successes of antibodies (via immune checkpoint inhibitors) and CAR T-cells have opened a new chapter in medicine. The goal is no longer to target the cancer itself, but to target the immune system—training it to specifically recognize and fight the patient’s tumor.
This training, delivered in 2021 as part of the “MabDesign Academy” program, offers a high level of expertise.

Learning objectives

  • Understand therapeutic products in immuno-oncology and their mechanisms of action
  • Develop a critical perspective on the main therapeutic combination strategies

Teaching methods

Interactive Teaching, Case Studies, Experience Sharing
