Training Context:
Antibodies have seen tremendous growth in their use as immunotherapies since the approval of the first therapeutic antibody, Muromonab-CD3, in 1985 for transplant rejection. Antibody generation methods have significantly evolved since then, with a wide range of modern approaches now in use.
New antibody formats—such as humanized, bispecific, or conjugated antibodies—are continuously being developed, with antibody engineering driving constant innovation.
