Level 1 -

Due Diligence: successfully licensing your product

Presentation

Why participate?

Recognize the importance of anticipating product development and gain the tools to prepare for due diligence.

Training Context:

The technological breakthrough brought about by the rise of biotechnology has led to a profound shift in corporate strategies. In fact, the proportion of drugs developed entirely in-house has dropped from 80% in the 1970s to around 40–60% by 2024. Today, license acquisitions and transfers are not only a matter of survival for many companies — they are also a strong indicator of company health and can unlock new financial and licensing opportunities.

  • Identify the phases of the licensing process: pre-evaluation, due diligence, and negotiation.
